Slice-based CMS: Craft International

CIM's (Craft International Media) designer crew had a fancy idea: a website made of horizontal graphical slices that form the page. Plus, a bit of eye-candy when navigating and the mandatory gallery. Three languages. Quite easy, so far.

The challenge was to create a easy Admin-Interface to allow for simple editing of these slices, moving them around, adding to their galleries (if any) and so on. Hey, and we're proud we did it. Anyone welse wanna go for slices?

Zwölf colleauges get a web shop

Our colleauges at Zwölf are now selling big printed posters in their new webshop.

We simply added shoppable blog posts to their blog system. In fact, a product to sell is nothing more than a blog post with a price. This saved everybody from learning a new shop administration system. Sometime it's just that easy.

Below the surface our long-term stable shop system is at work. We polished the client side by adding lots of fast-responding javascript actions to feed the cart and the billing system which makes a much-improved user experience.

To make things even more cool, we implemented a new online billing system: "Paymentmakler" offers low charges on credit card payments without any monthly fees. Our pals at Zwölf really like that. We now offer three online credit card acquirer interfaces: Paymentmakler, Computop and ConCardis.

Shopping pages are SSL-encrypted, of course.
